Pre-Race Session

Opening title, About W13 & Track guide
(~8 minutes)


Race Objectives

O1) Driver must complete Round 1, 2, and 3 (in that order) to finish the Race
O2) Driver must record their Fastest Lap Time in each Round of the Race
O3) Driver with the Lowest, Total Lap Time logged after finishing the Race, is the Winner


Race Control

C1) Race Control must be assigned to a non-competing person who must be present in Round 1, 2, and 3
C2) Race Control must apply the same Track per Driver throughout Round 1, 2, and 3
C3) Race Control must lock F1 202x Rules and Flags, Simulation Settings and Weather and Time of Day per Round
C4) Race Control must apply same F1 202x Rules and Flags, Simulation Settings and Weather and Time of Day per Driver
C5) Race Control must give 5 Penalty Seconds to a Driver for every Race Regulation they contravene in a Round
C6) Race Control log of Fastest Lap Time and Penalty Seconds, are final and cannot be overturned


Round 1 (P1-P3)

R1.1) Driver can set F1 202x Assists as required for the Round
R1.2) Driver cannot Pause, Restart or Quit Session
R1.3) Driver must start from and finish at the Garage/Pit

Round 3 (Race)

R3.1) Driver can set F1 202x Assists as required for the Round
R3.2) Driver cannot Pause or Quit Session, but is allowed to Restart Session once and during Lap 1 only
R3.3) Driver must start 1x Lap (Race) from Starting Grid

Driver must finish at Chequered Flag
R3.5)
Driver must log Fastest Lap Time after Race with Race Control

R3 Workflow

  • Command: Race Strategy (select Default or Alternative strategy)
  • Command: Start Race
  • Command: Camera (X) = Cockpit or TV Pod
  • Drive: 13x Laps from Starting Grid to Chequered Flag
  • Log: Fastest Lap Time (from OSQ Table) or 5 Penalty Seconds if DNF, with Race Control
  • Race Control to add any accumulated Penalty Seconds
  • Race Control to subtract n seconds from Fastest Lap Time, if the Driver finishes in the following positions:

Free Practice Code (FPC)

FP.1) Driver can only initiate Free Practice after authorisation from Race Control (who do not have to be present)
FP.2) Driver can have Free Practice for up to a one hour duration but cannot run partial sessions outside the hour
FP.3)
Driver must not exceed one hour limitation of Free Practice
FP.4) Driver must only use Time Trial mode during Free Practice
FP.5) Driver must select the next Track in the Championship’s Season, select Dry or Wet and is advised to load the SRS preset matching the Track
FP.6) Driver can only set F1 202x Assists as preferred for the Free Practice, but must not adjust any other Settings
FP.7) Driver must only use the Camera view of Cockpit or TV Pod during Free Practice
FP.8) Driver can Pause or Quit Session, but is not allowed to do Flashback or Restart Session
FP.9)
Driver must finish the Free Practice at the Garage/Pit
FP.10)
Driver must not adjust, delete, or overwrite any other settings or software configuration
FP.11) Violation of any FPC may result in Race Control giving 5 Penalty Seconds to a Driver for every Code contravened in Free Practice. The Penalty Seconds will be added to the next Round 3 of the Championship
